The Valle d’Aosta is an Alpine valley that with its side valleys includes the Italian slopes of Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn.

Valle d’Aosta concentrates inside its borders the highest peaks of the Alps,with Monte Bianco (the Mont Blanc) being the highest with its 4807 meters above sea level.
